What We’d Love to See in Your EPK
When submitting your EPK, please include a short bio, links to your music, a live performance video, high-quality photos, and any recent press or notable achievements. We also appreciate a clear stage plot, tech requirements, and a few sentences about why you’d like to perform at Howe Island Rockin’ the Rock. This helps us get a full sense of your sound, your story, and how you’ll connect with our audience.
A Bit of Festival History
Founded in 2017 as a grassroots gathering of local musicians, Howe Island Rockin’ the Rock has grown into one of the region’s beloved independent Canadian music festivals. What began as a backyard idea—celebrating homegrown talent and the unique spirit of Howe Island—quickly evolved into an annual tradition that brings together artists, families, and music lovers from across Kingston and the islands.
Over the years, the festival has showcased a diverse range of performers: rock, blues, indie, folk, and genre-blending acts that reflect the energy and creativity of the Canadian music scene. More than just a show, Rockin’ the Rock has become a community anchor—uniting neighbours, supporting local businesses, and building a multi-generational vibe where everyone feels part of something bigger.
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to continue that tradition and discover the next wave of artists who want to share their sound on our island stage.
If you’re ready to perform where community and creativity meet, we want to hear from you!
